- Rod Carmichael and Lynda Clayton-Smith have been involved in
letting and property management in the area for over fifteen years.
As an independent Agent we can offer the best service to landlords,
tenants and residents associations alike.
- Duke Letting is a small, reliable business.
There has been no change of staff for over eight years and there
are no plans for changes in the future. This means that we know
all our landlords and tenants on a personal basis, as well as
knowing all the idiosyncrasies of the properties we manage. We
are able to tailor our actions to your needs and to be there as
required.
- Duke Letting are members of the Association
of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA). We are bound by
strict rules of conduct and membership is only granted after exhaustive
investigation. It is a mandatory requirement of the ARLA that
all client monies are kept in clients’ accounts and that
these accounts are subject to an auditors report every year. All
client money is bonded.
- A senior member of staff is available day and night in the case
of an emergency.
- Our advertising is extensive. We have selective appearances
in local advertising papers but concentrate on the internet where
¾ of homemovers expect to find their next home. We have
our own dedicated web site and are on the top two Property Portals:
Rightmove.co.uk and Primelocation.com. We are in the Yellow Pages
and have an enhanced listing at yell.com with a direct web link.
Our comprehensive details show many photos, room sizes, floor
plans and all have an energy performance certificate.
